1:1 Coaching

A personal approach to improving your climbing

Some people benefit from one-to-one support in order to work on deeper and more individual issues. One-to-one conversational coaching is helpful for people who feel stuck in rigid and unhelpful patterns, have a difficult relationship with climbing or notice that the mind is their biggest limitation. One-to-one coaching might also be necessary to discover what is holding you back in your climbing or preventing you from enjoying climbing as much as you could. One-to-one coaching is also important for professional and elite athletes to help them optimise their performance. Working with a trained coach gives you the opportunity to explore where you are right now and the steps you need to make positive changes in climbing and your broader life. All Strong Mind coaches are trained in IFC-recognised programs and practice coaching both in climbing contexts and beyond climbing.

Performance Coaching with Hazel

Performance coaching is for more serious athletes in the sport who want to push themselves and understand that they could optimize their mindset and psychological habits, tools and strategies for performance

One-off Troubleshooting Session

Spend 90 minutes with Hazel troubleshooting psychological strength in performance and identify any obvious need for changes or further work.

This block of 3 sessions is ideal for someone with a particular issue that they'd like help with. For example how to goal-set for the year or psychological support with a project.

Fear Management Coaching

This coaching is for anyone who would like to better manage their fear in climbing whether this is fear of falling, heights, exposure, injury or failure. In order to receive coaching from Hazel you need to first be a student of the Strong Mind course.
